Care to repeat your recommendations in the comments, since I lost that piece of paper? All I remember is a thumbs up on Horizon and that Laura's was a floor model + coupon deal from Dick's. I think I will pick a couple of options and it put it on the radar of my deal-finding BIL. He is a master Craig's List- and pawn shopper.

3.11 miles today for Week 7, Day 1! Week 7 has me running for 25 minutes, and I did it at 3.8.

Also, I am loving my new favorite gear: the running skirt. I found two at the Adidas outlet (one is actually a tennis skirt, but whatever), and they are just what I needed. Even if the bike shorts underneath ride up a little, the skirt keeps it from showing. Awesome.

View on the Treadmill

I've never really used a treadmill before. Here you can see (from left to right) my water, sweat towel provided by the rec, yellow sticky of the Week 2 intervals by time, ipod with Nike+ and my blackberry. I'm really liking the treadmill so far!

Ironman Watch with iControl

I bought myself a present. Woot featured the Timex Ironman iControl watches last week for $30, and I got this blue one. Pretty!

I have long since lost my old Ironman watch from high school/college, including my "The Band" from Kanakuk. Sad! So I snatched up this watch when I saw it - $30 was a good price point for me.

And guess what? It can remotely control your ipod.

When I was doing my c25k runs, I was holding my ipod. No need! Now I can just strap it somewhere and control things from this watch. I'm even thinking that I'll just use the interval timers to time the c25k walk/runs, and just listen to my own music.
