2.87 miles on the treadmill at the Rec this morning! I was the first one there, so I got my pick of machines today. I did c25k Week 2, then ran for 4 minutes (!), walked 2.5 minutes, ran 2.5 minutes, walked 5 minutes. I'll move up to Week 3 next time.

It really takes me a while to feel good on the runs. The early ones are definitely the hardest.

I have finally come to realize that it takes me at least 3 miles(!) to "warm up"! No fair! After those first three, I feel like I can go forever, but the first three are not so special... Seriously, though, it does get easier, you just have to keep at it. You are doing awesome!
Also, isn't it great the first time you run for more minutes than you did the last time?!
