Obviously, I haven't been running. It is so hot outside that I can barely stand, let alone run. It's hot when I wake up, and it's hot when the sun goes down.
It's just not going to happen.
So... I need a new plan. I don't have a treadmill, gym membership, or the current pocket money for either. I still want a Wii Fit, but I'm needing to save for that, too.
Any ideas for air-conditioned, pretty close to free, fun ways to keep moving? I wonder if my old Tai Bo VHS tapes still work.

Our cable has On Demand fitness shows, including Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred, which is cardio and weight training. Not sure if you could check those out? It's a good free way to check out different fitness programs to see if you like them.
Also the library is a good place to check out fitness videos.
I like the Shread too! Do you have netflix? You can get a lot on there too. Maybe try to look for a cheap treadmil on craigslist or something?
Hey girl! I started that blog right after you told me the idea! I loved it :)
it's http://www.lifeasamomat21new.blogspot.com
btw, i'm in the same predicament(sp?) as you. I've been using Tae Bo DVDS, but I also have VCR tapes..haha! I also have been doing some lunges, squats, and push ups, and lifting 5lb weights every now and then.
I have been supplementing DVD workouts with walking because of the heat. I Netflix them to try them out before buying them or if you are not opposed to it, you could burn a copy. I have been doing pretty good with the Windsor Pilates series and have heard good things about 30 day shred but I have to take it easy right now because of my back.
Also, I just found your super secret blog (LOL!) but are you also on some kind of eating regimen? I know you are somewhat limited while nursing but the weight did not come off for me the 2nd time around and so when Jadyn stopped nursing at 16 months I did South Beach and lost 25 pounds and even now almost 2 years later I have never gained more than 5 of those back.
